TZ - OPEN CALL 2016
Fait Gallery vyhlašuje první OPEN CALL pro výstavní projekty realizované v roce 2016 v prostoru Fait Gallery Preview, který je zaměřen na generaci autorů mladší a střední generace, studenty a nedávné absolventy. Jedním ze základních kritérií je kvalitní výstavní projekt, který bude koncipován přímo pro prostor Fait Gallery Preview. Přihlášky mohou zasílat jednotlivci i skupiny umělců a výstavní záměr je možné realizovat také ve spolupráci s konkrétním kurátorem.
Fait Gallery pro realizaci projektu poskytne své výstavní prostory v centru města Brna (na adrese Dominikánské náměstí 10) a kromě zajištění standardní produkce a propagace výstavy věnuje příspěvek na její realizaci.
Závazné přihlášky, které budou obsahovat stručnou charakteristiku projektu (ke stažení zde), spolu s CV a portfoliem o max. rozsahu 15 stran zasílejte ve formátu .pdf (videa ve formě odkazu na vimeo nebo youtube) na emailovou adresu opencall@faitgallery.com nejpozději do 30. 6. 2015.
Autoři projektů vybraných porotou, složenou ze zástupců galerie, externích kurátorů, teoretiků a umělců, budou kontaktováni v úterý 1. 9. 2015 a výsledky budou současně zveřejněny na webových a facebookových stránkách Fait Gallery.

OPEN CALL 2016
The Fait Gallery announces the first OPEN CALL for exhibition projects to be installed in the Fait Gallery Preview premises in 2016. This Open Call is aimed at the younger and middle-aged generations of authors, students and recent graduates. One of the main criteria is a quality exhibition project, which will be designed specifically for the Fait Gallery Preview exhibition area. Submissions are open to individuals and groups of artists and the exhibition project can also be realised in cooperation with a specific curator.
The Fait Gallery will provide its exhibition spaces in the centre of Brno (Dominikánské náměstí 10/10 Dominican Square) for the project, and in addition to providing standard production and promotion of the exhibition, the Gallery will also donate a contribution for the implementation.
Please submit your application, including a brief description of the project (download here), along with a CV and a portfolio with max. 15 pages, in .pdf format (video with a link to Youtube or Vimeo) to the email address opencall@faitgallery.com. The deadline is 30th June 2015.
The authors of the projects, selected by a jury composed of representatives from the gallery, external curators, theorists and artists, will be contacted on Tuesday, 1st September 2015, and the results will also be announced at the same time on the web site and Facebook pages of the Fait Gallery.
